I was looking for a comfy chair that I could curl up in and read, and this is perfect for that. I took. It takes up a fair amount of room because it’s intentionally oversized, and I’ve added a few throws to truly make it soft and snuggly. I built it myself, and although it was easy, it took a bit of strength to hold the two sides together while screwing and bolting them. I also put the feet on backwards because I wasn’t paying attention to the picture in the directions. Other reviews have said that you can feel hard frame, and that was true the first time I sat in it, but I haven’t noticed it since. I think the throws helped and I got used to it. I’ve fallen asleep in it, so it’s a non-issue for me. I like the gray cushion but do wish it came in other colors. Overall, I am very happy with my purchase and could see myself buying another in the future.

This chair is amazing! Built well and is bigger than I expected. As a 5’10” woman I can snuggle up inside and be comfortable for hours. The only wish is that it had ties to connect the padding to the steel base.

Exactly what I wanted
This chair is perfect for lounging comfortably to read, which is what I planned on doing with this. I’m 5’7″ and I could easily sit with my feet in the chair and my head still has support in the cushion. Perfect for being cozy! Just remember when you’re putting it together to leave everything a little loose until all the screws are in place.
